Upon engagement of Executive Investigations, an initial consultation will be scheduled with the client to allow a full briefing and clarification of the details of the operation. We will establish a case file, which will be considered open for the duration of the investigation. A letter of confirmation will be forwarded to the client.

When instructed by the client to close an investigation, Executive Investigations will cease all activities immediately. At this point, an investigation summary and final report will be forwarded to the client.

Investigation Plan
An initial survey will be conducted in order to construct a logical direction for the investigation. The initial reconnaissance could include an observation of the property and surrounds to obtain ID photos of vehicles, property and the subject as deemed necessary. Services are supplied in accordance with guidelines as governed by the client (i.e. hourly rate or fixed terms). Run sheets for the investigation period will be completed daily and the case file updated. Details of all activities witnessed and management procedures such as hours per job, kilometres travelled and other relevant information and expenditure required will be recorded. Information recorded throughout an investigation is compiled and incorporated into the invoice that is forwarded to the Client at the end of every period.

Our Factual Investigations Unit is headed up by Mr. Ted Foster who served with the Australian Federal Police (Detective Superintendent) for 24 years conducting, leading and managing investigations. Mr. Foster later joined a private investigation practice where he conducted inquiries in respect to a range of matters including fraud, insurance liability, theft and internal investigations for corporate and government clients, before joining a Commonwealth government agency, where he was a senior investigator for their National Investigation Unit. Mr. Foster has been with Executive Investigations since March 2000.
